Bharatiya Vidya Kendra, Residential School Popularly Known As Bvk Was Started In The Year 1989-90 In The City Of Kalaburagi With 8 Student On Its Rolls. The Main Aim Of Institution Is To Provide Quality Education To The Students Of Hydrabad Karnataka Region In Kannada Medium.Due To Hard Work And Devotion The Institution Gained Popularity And The Locale Was Shifted To The New Village Environment, Serene Ambiance At Sirnoor On Kalaburagi - Jewargi Highway. Today The Residential School Is Situated In The Lush Green Foliage Covering 4 Acres Of Campus Which Houses The State Of The Art Classrooms, Dormitories, Computer Lab, Library, Sports Arena, Well Furnished Science Lab, Kitchen Etc.

At Present 234 Student Are Studying In Primary Section And 406 In High School Section Toiling 640. Along With Literacy And Numeracy Efforts Are Being Made To Impart Value Education To The Students. Under The Tutelage Of Blossoming To Become Responsible Citizens.

At Present 31 Teachers And 20 Non-Teaching Staff Are Engaged In The All-round Development Of The Students. Students Efforts And Teachers Guidance Has Borne Excellent Fruits. The Institution Follows Karnataka State Syllabus For Academicpursuits. The Trained Faculty Is Putting Every Effort To Make Education A Good Learning Experience. Teaching Process, Lerning Experience, Testing Hands On Experience Are Going On At Regular Intervals And Parents Are Regularly Informed About Progress Made By Their Children. Great Emphasis Co-Curricular Activities Like Debate, Computer Literacy, Drama Are Being Putforth For The Total Development Of Students. In The Globalized World Scenario , Education Too Has Become Globalized Affair. Student Are Exposed To Computer Literacy, Spoken English Classes, Personality Development Programs And Such Other Soft Skills. Students Actively Participate In Inter School Level Competition In Sports, Literary And Debate Competitions. These Are Good. Platforms For Them To Exhibit Their Latents.
